Common questions

All of our jade is Grade A, the natural and untreated grade with no dyeing or chemical enhancement. Each piece is hand-selected for tone, grain, and quality. Our jade is sourced through established suppliers in Myanmar and China, with many pieces carved in Zhenping, Henan, a region widely known for jade carving and jewelry craftsmanship. Our flagship Jaura Ring uses certified natural jadeite and ships with a Certificate of Authenticity.

We work with established suppliers and inspect every stone in our workshop before it is set or carved. For our flagship pieces, certification documents accompany the piece. For our other pieces, our promise is simpler: every stone is natural, never dyed, and chosen by hand.

All Aulyn pieces use solid 10K, 14K, or 18K gold. We do not use plating on our solid gold collections. The choice between karats affects colour and weight rather than authenticity. If you are not sure which karat is right for the piece you want, write to us at sales@aulyn.com.

Natural materials make every Aulyn piece slightly different. Jade varies in tone, grain, and translucency from stone to stone, and handcrafted finishes carry small marks of the hand. The piece you receive will match the quality and character you see in our photographs, but it will not be a perfect copy. That is part of what makes it yours.
